HELP! We need sharper math skills! My first grade class is in desperate need of a classroom rug. This is something that all classrooms tend to have. It provides a comforting, relaxing area to read, work, gather together to learn, and also grow in their learning. The lower elementary classrooms benefit from this more than other classes because the students are constantly moving around and/or are on the floor. I want to combine the need for a classroom rug with the need to improve and sharpen our math skills. First grade is a critical year for reading, but also for developing number sense. If you thing about it, skip counting, patterns, predictions, adding and subtracting, odd and even numbers, and so much more has to do with how well the students know a 120 chart. This rug provides all of these things! Not to mention classroom behavior is also a facet of the advantages we can receive from this rug, made possible by your donation!!! Thank you!
