Young students need comfortable areas to enjoy reading books and to learn and after 22 years of teaching my classroom carpet has been replaced with tile. This classroom rug will give my students a soft place to relax and enjoy books in many ways as well as learn from Smart Board lessons.
During classroom read alouds, the students come together in a small spot so they can each enjoy pictures and interact together. When students are seated close to the teacher they can focus more and fully enjoy the learning experience. This rug will provide a comfortable and friendly learning space to expand our learning to the floor.
