Recently, I took a leap of faith and accepted a position teaching in a Special Education, Cluster Classroom, at what is turning out to be a wonderful school! However, my classroom is in need of some very necessary and important materials, in order to give my students the education and environment they deserve. This is my first time working in a Cluster classroom, such as this one, and I just want to provide my students with the best learning opportunities possible. A better equipped classroom library, would provide my students more access to high quality children’s literature, both for academic and enjoyment purposes. This is the first project I am undertaking for this new classroom and this excited set of students, and the books I have chosen are ones I feel, as an experienced educator, will help create a foundation for my students, as they embark on their journey to becoming amazing readers!
