These books will provide a classroom environment of rich material and options for different level readers. My first graders each have their own book bins, each day I fill their bin with 5 books to keep them practicing and keep them challenged. Reading independently is a huge part of our day and a big skill to master before going to second grade. With these books, my students will be able to choose books at their level to practice their independent reading and build stamina. I would love to have many books to offer to my students with all different interests and skill level. With these books I can meet the needs of all my students throughout the year as they grow and progress. My students stay engaged when they have options on their reading content and I'm excited to see how much they can grow with more books to offer.
