We are looking for partial transportation funding so that our students can travel to the Washington Pavilion Kirby Science Discovery Center in Sioux Falls, SD on May 17, 2019. This trip will enhance and solidify some of the math and science standards that we work on in our classrooms all year.
Hands on STEM activities bring real-life experiences to learners. Our third graders will spend a day touring the three floors at the Washington Pavilion Kirby Science Center in Sioux Falls, SD. They will experience a variety of hands on STEM activities, helping them make connections between what they have learned in science and math classes to real-world applications. They will also have the opportunity to view an educational film on a state-of-the-art, giant, 60 foot, high-tech, high definition, 4K projection system of the Wells Fargo CineDome. Now that's inspiring and awesome!
