At our school our library books are lacking interest and excitement. When I see kids for library and they don't check out I ask why, they tell me we don't have anything interesting. Our school is very diverse but so many of our books are not. Our students deserve books that they can identify with! The books I have requested are exciting, engaging AND diverse. The books that I have requested will help foster the love of reading and bring excitement back to the library. Seeing students excited to read is such a passion of mine, please help me show these kids the joy of reading and connecting with a book.
