Help students experience the design process through fun and challenging builds with the KEVA materials. Through working in design teams students will build skills in teamwork as well as engineering. Students will learn perseverance and resiliency as the tinker and challenge themselves to build to new heights. These tools will connect to our science curriculum around energy transfer, as well as our social emotional curriculum around respecting each others differences. While students work towards a common goal, they will learn, grow and motivate one another for success. I think this project would be a great way to start my classroom makerspace!
