I am requesting garden materials which will be used to start a garden bed outside our classroom back door. In the garden bed, seasonal vegetable plants will be planted once I have these materials.
Students will use the garden as an engaging learning tool for our integrated science curriculum. With spring quickly approaching, we will be reading spring related books that also incorporate science objectives such as living and nonliving, physical properties, five senses, and the impact of weather on the environment.
I will use the garden to introduce and review objectives K.L.1.2, K.E.1.1, K.P.2.1 as I continue to integrate science and plan engaging lessons for my students.
