My students are special education students-- most of them have learning disabilities. They work hard to try to do grade-level work, but they struggle to overcome their disabilities. My students attend a public community school that is a Title 1 school. Currently, we are also a program improvement school. Our school has a diverse population that truly attempts to build a sense of community.
