These students have been in person learning almost every week since September and have done amazing things. Seeing how they are interacting with each other has given me ideas to further help them. They have begun pretending to call each other to chat! I hope that these toy phones will help further this imaginitive play. Art is a favorite and I am hoping individual watercolor sets and silicone baking cups being used for water will help these kids express themselves in a new way.
We have been very creative this year making sure these students get everything they can while staying safe and I am trying to freshen up their choices so they can continue to SHINE!
We have different types of toys that we have been able to use but we don't have anything like the Duplo blocks and I believe these will be very popular! They will be divided but the kids can still show off their creations! The velcro and laminating sheets will go towards creating each student their own individual work book that will be used to work on their specific goals. Social interaction and goals are a giant part of our class and these kids have done amazing things and will continue to do so!
