My poor students currently sit on a worn carpet that is way too small. Their tiny bottoms overflow onto the hard, cold tile floor. A comfy new rug that fits everyone will help students enjoy our read aloud stories and community circle time even more. A new 9 X 12 carpet will fit all students comfortably with room to wiggle. One of my second grade students' favorite classroom activities is story time and read aloud. They enjoy traveling to different places and seeing things through the perspective of another character. Community circle time, allows students to share their feelings and prepare for learning.
