I am requesting a fridge and a freezer to use in my classroom. I teach STEM K-5 and many of the items I use are consumables. This year the students have made homemade ice cream and butter. They have figured out how to put an egg into a glass bottle and learned the science of rainbow milk. However, it is very challenging to do these projects without a fridge or a freezer in the classroom.
Students love doing these projects in the classroom. Currently I have access to one in the teacher's lounge that the whole school has to share. I really struggle with having room for all my supplies, with over 40 other teachers in the building. This would allow me to let the students be more creative in the classroom.
