The desks of cards are a great learning tool in math. The students are able to use them as a visual for multiplication, fractions, and so many more skills. We are currently working on fractions, and the students are able to convert fractions using the cards. Not only do the cards help with math, but it helps them socially. We have been playing Hand and Foot and Cribbage. These games are working on basic math skills, but it also has a twist to it. It is nice for the students to socialize with their peers while they are being engaged in a card game.
