My students come to school full of life and ready to learn! Just like adults get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day, students do too! They need more flexible/comfortable seating options to enhance student engagement and learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. I have provided yoga balls for my students, but I want to give them more options for them to choose from. Wobble chairs are a great option. I also want my students with accommodations to feel less embarrassed about why they have a different seating arrangement.
This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom.
