In our classroom, we want our students to be exposed to all different kinds of supplies and materials. Instead of writing with pencil and paper all the time, why not write with dry erase markers on the table? We can practice writing our sight words and sentences on dry erase boards and tables, along with practicing simple addition and subtraction problems.
Kids drawings can only go so far with just crayons, what about spicing their art work up with colorful markers and water color paint? Markers and water color paint will help students get creative in their drawings and pictures. When students are learning to write they may have a hard time gripping a pencil. Having pencil grippers available for students who need a little extra support will help these young learners write.
Being five years old and staying in your personal bubble can be challenging. Having your OWN dot on the carpet will help keep kids in their own spot and keep them focused on learning. Having access to these materials in the classroom will allow us to participate and complete activities in our everyday learning!
