I am currently an AVID teacher! AVID is a program dedicated to help our students who aspire to be first generation college students prepare for that goal! We are in need of many markers as students have to conduct tutorials. Tutorials give our students the opportunity to work in collaborative study groups where they learn through the inquiry process. They must show their inquiry process on a white board to their respective group. At times students have had to buy their own markers as we run out. I also aim to provide the most comfortable environment for my students which is why things that might seem trivial like: hand sanitizers, lotion, and a class broom make all the difference. Our classroom it a second home. Please help us make it comfortable!
