My 3rd and 4th Grade students need flash drives in order to save their work. As of now the students save their work on the desktop while in the technology lab. I have about 600 students come to the lab every week and my older students are afraid of their projects getting accidentally deleted. Having flash drives would keep their work safe. The flash drives would also be a great way to share their work with family members and other students.
I have many students who enjoy writing stories, creating pictures on the computer, but when class is over their work is on their desktops in the lab and they are unable to continue with their work until the following week as I see each class once a week.
If they had flash drives they would be able to save their work and just continue from where they left off.
