The iPad and pencil requested to help revitalize the way my students see their success in the classroom. I teach a robotics class to a diverse population of students from all over the city. Our students come in with limited experience so I work to ensure that all knowledge gaps are filled. The item requested for this project will bring more technology into the class where they will be able to engage in simulation work, virtual building and I can monitor progress. This will be the start of my goal to build classroom resources as our program builds. iPads are a great way for students to program on the go (while at competitions), to maintain/scout alliances with peers and to get their friends engaged in the process. iPads bring a new light to our classroom.
