These books will help me differentiate my reading instruction by considering student interest and ability. In selecting high interest, modern, award winning novels, the students will be exposed to strong examples of literary work while also engraving the love of reading into their hearts. The books I have selected include basketball, baseball, mystery, heartache, suspense, rocky relationships, and so much more. Those who say they do not enjoy reading, just haven't found the right book yet. Help me save a 5th grader by growing them into a courageous, confident, and curious reader. Knowledge is power and that power can be unlocked through books.
