My PreK students will benefit from this space where they can calm down and take a moment for themselves. Students with Autism see, hear and feel the word differently than other people. Sensory toys are a great tool to explore their senses and to maximize their development. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment that will make the young children to feel comfortable when learning to maximize their opportunities, it is very important for students on special education feel extra safe and confident about their environment to be able to express and pursue their goals.

About my class
