When using flexible seating in our classroom, my students will fill empowered to make a choice for which seating option is best for their learning. Flexible seating also allows my students to change location and positions throughout the school day, making them comfortable and get their wiggles out. Currently, I have medicine balls, a few standing desks and low tables but want to expand our seating options. Some students will choose to stand and learn, others will sit on a cushion, while others will wobble on a seat. Endless opportunities to be successful!
Being comfortable leads to more engaged, calm, and focused learners. Help my students gain a variety of flexible seating options in our classroom.
