Currently I have no carpet for my circle time and whole group activities. Having a set "space" for each child will help aid in the classroom's structure and routine. Many of my students have difficulty maintaining focus and not wondering into others' personal space during carpet activities. This carpet will give the students the structure that they need to succeed. Having a space to sit and listen to stories and interact during whole group activities will help students maintain focus throughout their lessons. They will be able to learn with fewer distractions. I like that this carpet incorporates colors and shapes that will aid in my students learning.
