I can't tell you how many times I have heard "I don't like to read!" in my classroom. My goal as a teacher is to open student's minds to reading and helping them grow as readers. I want them to love reading but my main goal is to move them one step toward not hating reading. I can't always afford to buy new books for my students but having access to books can change student's view on reading. I would love to be able to give my students a wider selection of books to choose from. With your help I can give students access to more texts and a variety of levels. Hopefully this will chance student's outlook on reading.
