My students are currently working on understanding the numbers 1-10. Throughout the school year, they will be used to help them understand geometry and numbers 1-20. Math manipulates give them the hands-on experience to fully grasp the concepts. They will be counting, sorting, adding, subtracting, and comparing numbers using different manipulates that will build a solid foundation. Each item on my list the students will be used doing their daily math center time while working with their peers. They will problem solve using the manipulates while learning to work with someone else. They will also be used during science and for stem activities to help them better understand the world.
