Many of our students are use to reading or watching, however with a makerspace students will be able to be hands on. They would be able to build whatever comes to mind with lego blocks, they will be able to not just imagine a 3D object but rather build it from the ground up. Along with the Dot robot, students will be able to learn about coding and make up their own code to make a robot move. We are ready participate in the World Wide movement of Hour of Code in December, and what better way to continue the lesson throughout the school year with hands on coding with age appropriate robots. Students can work together creating a team building environment similar to one in a real world work place. Not only will they learn how to use technology but learn to be part of a team !
