The middle school students are highly interested in the FIRST program that the high school students are competing in and want to participate in a FIRST program as well. These materials will allow the middle school students to begin building skills in engineering, programming, public speaking, and team work. With help from Donorschoose.org, these students will be able to begin their journey into robotics for the next season. This will enhance the middle school division of the STEM Club by allowing more students to be immersed into STEM. Currently, the middle school students only participate in MathCount Nevada Regional competition. This kit will allow us to diversify and increase the exposure our middle school STEM students are receiving next year.
