I am looking to add engaging and diverse books to my classroom library that reflect more of the students in my space and help them build empathy and learn about others. I want students to foster a love of reading that starts within my walls and extends beyond them. This project will help me and my students accomplish that goal and will set them up for success in the future by building awareness and empathy. Additionally, by filling our library with diverse books, written by diverse authors, you will help my students to grow as readers, thinkers, and respectful global citizens.

About my class
