The materials will make a huge impact in many ways. For the writing resource books, students will have research based, CCSS aligned practice that will enable them to develop the writing skills they need to succeed. Without a curriculum, the middle school students I serve are severely underprivileged and severely behind. I often need a wealth of materials and resources to modify instruction to each group of students, and then for each individual student based on areas they need to grow.
