We will be able to compare our weather data throughout the day as well as throughout the week to data taken whenever we want comparisons made. We will be able to see trends and see where there are no trends.
We will be able to monitor weather conditions and make weather predictions.
Both seventh grade science and ninth grade earth science (both courses I teach) have weather units in them. A weather station and taking our own weather data is imperative to being able to predict the weather. Students learn more from hands on curriculum enhancers than any other media.
