The classes that I am currently teaching are a hybrid of Journalism and Volleyball. Students are placed in my classes to learn reading and writing skills, and this class has decided that their focus will be on producing a school newspaper that follows the volleyball, softball, and baseball programs through our spring sport season. JHS is about to experience a revival in its school newspaper from this first trial group of avid sports fans! As exciting as this all is, each student will need a notebook and plenty of pencils as we embark upon this new journey. Additionally, the volleyballs will help support our boys and girls volleyball teams that are working in close proximity with my classes to write articles to fill out our newspaper.
