Our project will help students develop better communication skills and have a healthy lifestyle. There is a positive correlation between students who participated in high levels of physical activity and improved academic achievement, decreased risk of heart disease and diabetes, improved weight control, and less psychological dysfunction. Some children who are obese often experience a diminished quality of life, learning difficulties, decreased self-confidence, and social discrimination.
"Catching and Throwing" sounds so simple.
With the requested baseball bats, a catcher mask, and a catcher cap, students will learn the fundamentals of baseball. As a child catches the ball they will learn to communicate with one another in order to make the correct choice of play. As students stand in the batter's box they will learn eye coordination as well as the variation of stands and angles they could use in order to drive the ball in the desired direction.
