The materials requested have the goal of creating a learning environment that facilitates function in the classroom. Every year I have students who can benefit from having flexible seating options. Having seating options which are not traditional chairs can be of great service to fidgety students.
Dry-erase markers in the classroom are a rare commodity. There are lessons on our agenda that require the use of dry-erase markers. Dry-erase markers allow me to create laminated worksheets on which students can record responses. For example students in the classroom practice their multiplication on laminated sheets. Students enjoy the fact they can wipe away responses and practice to their discretion. They often prefer this method of practice than traditional paper and pencil. The wipeable number line would also be a wonderful addition to the learning resources in the classroom.
