Flexible seating keeps my students engaged and excited about their learning. During work time students have the option to find a spot around the room that is a "good fit spot" for them. This is a spot where they are comfortable and able to work. Finding a "good fit spot" is the first step into their success of being able to grow in their learning.
Through flexible seating my students are on task and ready to learn. Right now my students can choose to sit at their seat, lay on the carpet, grab a stool or sit in a crate seat. There are only so many options and students are eager to find their "good fit spot". With more flexible seating options my students will be even more eager to get working right away.
