After five years, I needed a change in my classroom. I had a group of very diverse learners in my classroom, who were very creative, yet had a lot of trouble staying focused. I obtained a set of yoga balls that I fell in love with. From this small beginning my classroom morphed into a flexible seating one with tables, stools, and cushions. This allowed my students to move to a spot where they could work. Although flexible seating has many advantages, there is one major disadvantage, where do we put all our stuff. The classroom soon became cluttered with crates, storage boxes, and make-shift shelves. We needed storage that would turn our classroom into a calm, uncluttered hub of learning. I am hopeful, through the donations of storage materials, I can organize my classroom into the harmonious one I envision.
