These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create for my kindergarteners. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work and stretch their mind through rich literature. Every book will help my students meet the Common Core standards for Reading Literature. These books were picked with my students in mind. These books will provide my students to engage with each other as they answer text dependent question. Student discourse allows each student to brainstorm and learn from each other. My students have shown a great interest in the stories we have already learned this school year. This project will help them connect their world to books.
