We are fully implementing a new reading program this year. This program requires students to have a selection of texts at their independent reading levels. In addition, students have a folder with writing and word work for literacy centers.
These pocket chairs will help my students stay organized and have the required materials at arms reach during centers.
Having sturdy, easy to move, pocket chairs will serve as a home for student work and books. It will also help me check work and change out books as the year goes on. The pocket chairs will help students form a sense of responsibility and independence.
