The area where I teach is a low socioeconomic one. Sometimes, students do not bring enough supplies to school. Many times they bring no supplies at all. I have found that Writing is one of the many subjects that my students struggle a lot with. I believe that by providing them with scented pencils and funny writing tools this idea they have about not wanting to write will change.
With your help, I want to promote the love of writing in them. Most students see writing as boring. I want them to realize that writing is and can be fun! I want them to be able to express themselves in different ways.
