Most of my students have asked to study the keyboard in class, but right now we are unable to do that. With the use of electronic keyboards and headphones, a class of students will be able to practice simultaneously without sound overload and distraction.
The keyboards will provide multiple benefits for the general music program. Students of all ages will be able to use the instrument. Working individually, they will be able to develop at their own pace, help develop self esteem and independence. Keyboards are also perfect for tactile learners. As students progress, working and performing together offers them an ensemble experience. And the portability of the instruments will provide performance opportunities.
