For my project, I have requested a Peeq QBall and an African Djembe drum. These items can be used to help students focus while learning in the classroom. The QBall is a microphone that is built into a ball that can be thrown across the room to identify who has the floor to speak. It can help students who speak quietly be heard. This microphone will get all students to listen and be heard while adding an exciting way to choose who will speak.
The Djembe drum is for students who have a harder time focusing during lessons. The drum is to be used to add noise to the times when an answer is being given by the class or when we are singing content songs that are written by my students. It requires the children to focus on the lesson so they know just the right time to make a beat for the answer.
