As a middle school teacher, it quickly became apparent to me how hungry my students were throughout the day. So hungry that if I ran out of snacks, which I did within a day or two of replenishing my stash, I would hand out extra fruit packed in my lunchbox.
Snacks 4 Studies aims to provide healthy snacks to students in the classroom to fuel their brain as they learn! While is true that a free, healthy breakfast is provided to students, and while some students may choose to skip it because they claim to neither like nor need it, many who do eat breakfast are often hungry an hour later.
With providing a healthy snack between breakfast and lunch, and because students love snacks, Snacks 4 Studies allows another opportunity to give children the energy and nutrition they need to learn and grow in their studies.
