Telling time and elapsed time are very abstract and difficult concepts for my third graders. The materials I have requested will help my students have a more hands-on experience to make telling time less confusing. I have requested large clocks to model telling time to the whole class as well as individual clocks for students to use on their own. In addition to these manipulatives, I have also requested several different types of time learning games that will help reinforce the skill in a fun way. Every student learns in a different way, so I have selected a variety of materials so there should be something to meet every students' needs.
