Most children simply must move! We’ve all seen students dangerously rock back and forth on chair legs, wiggle in their seats causing a squeaky distraction to other learners or the like. With your generous donation, the students in my class would be permitted seating options that allow them to satisfy this natural urge to move. All while in a safe and age-appropriate way! With this new opportunity to wiggle without fear of redirection, students will be better able to focus on the task at hand.
When students are comfortable, they will be more engaged in the lessons being taught. When they are given choices, it will reinforce that they are valued and differences are accepted.
