Being a first year teacher, I envisioned myself investing in resources that would help create a safe, nurturing environment in a physical classroom that I'd share with my kids. The pandemic produced a change of events.
However, I'm holding my ground in aiming towards creating that safe, nurturing environment that my kiddos rightfully deserve -- even if that means our space is virtual (for now.)
I'd like to create and deliver care packages for my kids before the school year begins, with items that would tend and assist their remote learning. These items include, but are not limited to:
Spanish/English reading books
Handheld whiteboards
Dry erase markers
Colored pencils
Pencils
Journals/Notebooks
Folders
Face masks (for potential hybrid learning one day, but also to keep them and their family healthy with or without the physical attendance of schooling)
ANY and EVERY donation and contribution is immensely appreciated, truly. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you for simply taking the time to read this through -- my little ones and I are grateful for your generosity.
