We are fortunate that we have licenses for all students to use the Rosetta Stone program; however, technology is often not on our side. Many of our headsets are outdated, broken, or do not even work with the program. I began the year with over 20 new headsets. Now I only have 11 that work.
We need new headsets to use the Rosetta Stone program to its full potential.
With new headsets, students (and teachers!) will encounter less frustration due to technical difficulties and be able to spend more time learning and practicing English. Reliable headsets will also allow me to explore other applications to practice oral language, such as recording speaking excerpts, reading fluency, and pronunciation.
