These calculators are for 7th-grade math curriculum. Part of students aversion to math is that there are too many steps, too many opportunities to make simple math errors. I find students are more likely to take a risk and tackle a more complex problem if they are confident they will avoid those calculation errors and can just focus on the process of solving problems. I want all of my students to have the same opportunity to be successful in math class.
We use calculators daily to support with calculations and to double check handwritten work.
Please help me to get current, working calculators for students in my class. Working tools, such as calculators, are essential for students to reach their full potential for success in math.
