Students are eager to learn math when class is engaging and fun. My students enjoy collaborating and practicing math by using mini-whiteboards. We are able to use these materials several times a week to make sure students really understand what we are learning.
Students will be able to use the whiteboards individually for practice on solving problems, whether it is equations, percent problems, linear equations or simplifying expressions. This opportunity provides students a chance for quick feedback on their work. Students also work collaboratively to solve problems using the whiteboards as a place to do the work together.
My students would love the addition of bins to store each table group's materials for using whiteboards, including the markers and erasers.
