We are all affected by this abrupt pandemic and are now forced into this new way of learning and working from home. Adapting to change can be difficult for everyone and especially for our younger students. Essential materials for my preschoolers are limited, but extremely necessary to continue building on the foundational skills they will need in the years to come. Without the basic skills my student's education will be hindered. In this challenging time, parents are focused in providing food and shelter for their family. The supplies I am requesting will provide necessary educational materials to each one of my students. With your help, I hope to prepare an essential learning kit for my students to use at home while our school is closed. Each learning kit will include materials to address their visual and kinesthetic learning modalities as well as spark their creativity. The magnetic boards, magnetic letters, and dry erase makers will help foster phonics and literacy. The markers, crayons, paint, play-doh, pipe cleaners, construction paper, scissors, and glue sticks, will foster their creativity and imagination. Please help me give my students learning materials for home during distant learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
