Watercolor paints are an easy way to teach painting to students particularly primary grades. It allows them to do paint projects while teaching them how to hold a paintbrush, how much paint to use (just on the tip), and to always clean the brush before changing color so as not to pollute the other colors. With watercolors kids can just flow with color without making muddy colors.
Kids love to paint and are excited to know that a lesson media is paint. Having watercolors to use is a convenient resource to use with any grade, because they are dry pan and come in close-able cases that are easy to transport. This kind of paint is also great when you teach on a cart because you only need to have water.
I like to give kids a variety of Art experiences, so painting is somewhat of a treat for the kids and break from coloring. So, with watercolors paints, teaching painting on a cart is ideal for transporting and easy cleanup, and students can be successful creating masterpieces with them.
