I would like my students to feel like a scientist when in the lab. Lab coats will allow them to take the instruction seriously and the importance of science safety. To introduce the lab coats, I have a fun filled activity using dry ice, which will emphasize the importance of science safety. My hope is that they will be eager to explore and not be intimidated by science as they move on to middle school. Our school is a Global Environmental Learning school, this will add to their global learning.
