Support Mrs. Hewes' classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
The materials that I am requesting will foster my students' learning across the curriculum. They will use these tablets for many different activities which include partner and collaborative work as well as independent research based activities. It will also benefit those students with special needs and students whose first languages are something other than English.
Because students today are already somewhat familiar with technology, these tablets would be extremely beneficial when the students are expected to complete higher level independent work while I am working with other groups.
Since my classroom includes many students with special needs and those who speak languages other than English, these tablets would be a valuable asset to them, as well as their peers. They would have the opportunity to practice skills at their level, which may or may not be that of their classmates.
